Born in Sydney, Australia, Ian G. Rae has been a professional journalist for over 50 years. He first came to the United States in 1961 as a New York- based foreign correspondent for Rupert Murdoch’s Australian newspapers and has built his career as a media specialist. Mr. Rae is a highly accomplished expert and has held executive positions within both print and television. His experience includes, foreign correspondent for Murdoch newspapers in the United Kingdom, reporter for the British national newspaper, editor of TV Week, Australia’s largest circulating television magazine, editorial director of Southdown Press, whose publications included some of Australia’s best selling magazines, editor and publisher of Star Magazine, executive producer of the nationally syndicated news magazine, “A Current Affair,” vice president news director, at Fox flagship WNYW Channel 5, New York, executive vice president, news, Fox Television Stations, Inc . Most recently, Mr. Rae opened Ian Rae Communications, LLC. He has worked with Fox News as a consultant and for the second run of” A Current Affair”. He also has served as a media consultant for well known politician Rick Lazio.
